PENTING: Lokasi ‘Speed Trap’ Kamera Berkuasa Tinggi AES!


Menjelang akhir tahun ini kita sebagai pengguna jalan raya akan ‘diperhatikan’ oleh 566 kamera statik berteknologi tinggi yang boleh merakam wajah pemandu dan jenis kenderaan dengan jelas walaupun
memandu melebihi 100 kilometer sejam.
Kamera berteknologi Jerman itu adalah satu daripada komponen Sistem Penguatkuasaan Elektronik (AES) yang akan dipasang oleh Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) di lokasi strategik, terutama kawasan berisiko kemalangan di seluruh negara bagi memerangkap pemandu melebihi had laju.
Selain kamera, pemandu juga diawasi 266 kenderaan penguat kuasa elektronik yang dilengkapi kemudahan canggih bagi memantau pesalah trafik dan menahan mereka yang tidak mematuhi peraturan jalan raya.
Prosedur operasi standard (SOP) bagi mewujudkan ketelusan dalam penguatkuasaan peraturan itu membabitkan pemasangan papan tanda amaran bagi membolehkan pemandu mengetahui kewujudan kamera perangkap laju seperti diamalkan di negara maju.
Saman yang dikeluarkan nanti adalah berasaskan gambar yang dirakam pemegang konsesi penyumberluaran yang dilantik kerajaan dan wajib disahkan agensi penguat kuasa, iaitu JPJ sebelum notis saman dikeluarkan.
Gambar yang dirakam ini lebih tepat, tidak kabur, walaupun pandu kereta lebih 100 kilometer sejam.
Ia akan beroperasi selewat-lewatnya hujung tahun ini dan dijangka meningkatkan persepsi kebarangkalian ditangkap ke tahap 90 peratus!
Mengenai kos pemasangan, kerajaan tidak mengeluarkan peruntukan sebaliknya dua syarikat konsesi dilantik menanggung kos berkenaan menerusi perolehan diterima daripada kutipan saman.
Berikut diberikan lokasi-lokasi pemasangan sistem baru perangkap had laju baru itu, tapi ini yang tak rasmi, mungkin betul, mungkin salah atau mungkin ‘di sekitarnya’….kalau silap jangan marah.
Yang penting, ikut peraturan, bukan kerana saman tapi demi keselamatan diri sendiri dan nyawa orang yang tersayang.
